Missing Persons
You won’t find a missing persons category on other travels blogs, I promise! But I think it’s the perfect place for it. After all, we see a lot of faces on the way to our intended destinations. Right?
Plus, travelers and outdoor enthusiasts often pursue lesser-known destinations and venture into areas most never go. We’re known to backpack for miles into the woods where trails don’t exist, often spending days or weeks enjoying peace and solitude. Some of us are also known for exploring wilds caves that few dare try.
In any case, these hidden treasures we encounter may conceal secrets regarding missing persons that warrant revelation. Items such as worn wallets, frayed purses, discarded clothing, damaged cell phones, seemingly abandoned luggage, out of place receipts, etcetera could potentially provide crucial insights into unresolved missing persons cases, offering closure to grieving families.
Furthermore, pungent odors such as those that resemble rotten cabbage (ethyl mercaptan), rotten eggs (ethyl mercaptan), sewage (hydrogen sulfide), rotten meat, etcetera may prove to be something more than just atrocious odors. Low depressions in the ground, trash bags, barrels, etcetera that are completely out of place may prove to be significant in locating missing persons.
I ask that you remain vigilant during your explorations. Please take note of anything suspicious you find. You never know what your journey may unveil, and you just may be the key to bringing someone home to their family.
