Planning
Here you’ll find information to help you plan your travels. Planning is the key to making sure you have a successful and fun adventure.
Planning your travels can certainly be overwhelming! You’ll start the travel planning process long before your actual trip and for good reason. It’s an extensive, time-consuming process.
You’ll need to establish a budget and save money. Right? Then, figure out how much your schedule will allow you to travel.
Brainstorm where you want to go and what you want to do. There are so many options available! You’ll have to browse the possibilities and narrow them down.
Once you know if you’re traveling domestically or internationally, you’ll need to make a list of travel documents you need. You’ll certainly want to give yourself plenty of time to get your travel documentation in order. Some documents you may need to apply for and some you may already have.
You’ll need to set your travel dates and verify those days off with your employer. Then, do price comparisons on lodging options and travel methods.
Once you have all your straggling ducks in a row, you can book your travel accommodations. Then, you’ll need to start making your itinerary! Don’t forget to leave a copy with your “safety buddy”.
If the aforementioned isn’t enough to deal with, now you have to put together your packing lists. Yes, lists! Then, comes the packing process. Yikes!
It is my hope the information here will help simplify your travel planning process so you can spend more time having fun! If you have any questions, you can ask them in the comments section of the post or reach out to me by email. Wishing you many blessings and as always, Safe Travels!
